Afskedsfrokost
23. jun 2009 16:59, LeneVar i går ude og spise afskedsfrokost med en af mine veninder.
Mara har jeg lært at kende, da vi går til spansk sammen, de flyttede hertil et års tid inden vi gjorde, men vi blev meldt i 'new-comer's club' omkring samme tid, og hun har følt et helt specielt slægtskab med mig, fordi hendes mor - som bor hos hende - er født og opvokset i Flensborg. Det kunne jo i teorien lige så godt have været Danmark, ikke?
Da hun desværre ikke kunne være med til afskedsfesten for mig, da hun på det tidspunkt besøgte sine børn i Californien, inviterede hun mig i stedet til frokost nede i vores mall. Dejlig mad, et glas vin og godt selskab. Hvad mere kan man forlange?
Hendes mand tog lige et billede af os, inden vi kørte afsted. Så har jeg også et billede af hendes hus, som virkelig er et hyggeligt, lille hus.
